Non destructive testing activities work hand-in hand with site based planned maintenance schedules to guarantee the integrity of structures and ensure the reliability of standby and online equipment.

Regardless of whether your assets work above, on or below the waterline, AME can provide inspection equipment and personnel to complete offshore inspection programs.

Above the water, AME provides inspection equipment and personnel required for NDT, corrosion mapping, thickness testing, condition monitoring, dropped object surveys and coating inspection.

For assets on the water (shipping, FPSO’s, MODU’s) AME’s team of IRATA qualified rope access NDT technicians can access inside ballast tanks, up crane booms and along ship hulls. We can offer DNV class approved external specialists for hull condition assessments, as well as assisting surveyors with class surveys.

Below the water, AME can call on expertise of our alliance partners to provide pipeline surveys, free-span inspections, UWILD’s and subsurface surveys.
