40under40 is designed to celebrate the depth of business talent in Western Australia.
The awards recognise not only the determination and commercial drive of these individuals but also the philanthropic pursuits that balance their corporate achievements and as such acknowledge their less public contributions to the welfare of the state.
Every year, one outstanding business talent is selected from the 40 winners as the First Amongst Equals and becomes an ambassador for the awards in each year.
This year, Gus Costas from AME was nominated and selected into the top 40.
