A wonderful day was had by everyone at the inaugural Total Marine Technology 'Kids Day' on Saturday 17th of April. It was a great learning experience for the children (and adults alike) who had the chance to sample and play with technical equipment and many more fun activities such as:
- A tour of TMT's cutting edge fabrication and design facilities
- The use of an ROV schilling arm to pop balloons
- Control of an observation class ROV in TMT's test tank
- The use of RC cranes at AME's stand to construct a mock offshore platform off a mock barge
- View a spectacular nitro helicopter aerobatics display
- AND....eat a sausage and steak cooked in a BBQ made out of a cast iron sea mine!
As you can see, there was plenty to see and do.
Whilst we promised the kids that their photos would be up on our website, for silly grown-up legal reasons we are unable to make good on our promise.
So if you attended the event and would like to view the photos please contact us on the address below and we can arrange a special access login for a limited time..
Sorry kids.
AME would like to extend a warm thank you to TMT for inviting us to participate in such a great event and to all the children and parents that came to see us on the day.
