AME Super Bails™ are a passive compensation system that acts as a backup system to the rig crown mounted compensator or active heave draw works.
AME Super Bails™ are self contained units that replace standard 50ft Elevator Links during offshore completions. AME Super Bails™ rig up procedure is similar to that of standard elevator links and therefore standard operation for rig crews.

AME Super Bails™ offer complete protection for locked to bottom operations on floating MODU’s. By providing compensation for over tension and also under tension situations, the AME Super Bails™ protect the riser/string from over tension and buckling by keeping the riser/string in tension at all times.
The AME Super Bails™ allows operation as either 350 or 500 ton system with exchange of only the end connections. Utilising standard elevator link ends allows the AME Super Bails™ to interface with all standard drilling equipment.

Individual units simplify transport and handling into drill floor and derrick. Optional integrated platforms to access the BOP and Pressure Control Equipment (PCE) minimise personnel fatigue by reducing exposure to extended man riding operations.
